Maria Amparo Maria Amparo was born in Castuera (Badajoz) Spain on January 18th, 1943. She studied art at the Escuela de Bellas Artes where Maestro Pena was her mentor in landscape paintings. She attended a Contemporary art course on Artistic Vanguards and Impressionism at the Mafre Vida Cultural foundation. In 1991 she began to exhibit her work and had solo exhibitions in two galleries in Madrid and at the town hall of her home town. During this period she also participated in art exhibitions throughout Spain, including Madrid, Marbella, Guadalajara, and Badjoz. In Europe she took place in exhibitions in Belgium, Holland, Italy, Germany, Portugal, and the Nimes Art Fair. Her work can be seen on permanent display in the Science Department at the University of Granada, Spain, the Badajoz Town Hall, and at the Carriegos Foundation in Leon, Spain.
