E H Klink discovered a penchant for art when he brought the considerable force of his personality to the work of art. Having been graduated from West Point and Harvard Business School, and having been a successful business entrepreneur, the artist followed his passion into landscape painting. His luminous works found wide acceptance, and today he dedicates his days to the creative process. He says, “Everytime I pick up a brush, it is a new challenge, a new creation.”

For the artist, nature’s landscape is a departure point, a place to begin. The natural beauty of nature is the catalyst. Combining this with my imagination is the challenge and the reward. Painting is a vehicle to achieve this goal. He avoids painting the whole picture, telling the whole story. He strives to appeal to the “imaginative soul,” the soul capable of jumping in and becoming part of the process, part of the creative work. Klink considers success to be when the viewer is captured by not only what is said but also what is left unsaid. He relates, “I want the viewer to become part of the painting.”
