Lai Kit-Cheung
In 1950, Lai Kit-Cheung was born in China. As a young adult, he was not
permitted to pursue his passion for art in mainland China. He created
an opportunity for himself by a move to Hong Kong where he studied at
the School of Fine Arts.
Kit-Cheung wanted to exercise his inherent right for greater freedom and
risked his life in a move to Paris, France in the late 70’s. Today,
this is where he makes his home. With noted acclaim and success, in great
joy and gratitude, Lai Kit-Cheung paints his love of Paris, and the charm
of her streets and storefronts.
