| Yaowu Zhang
Yaowu Zhang, was born in Shengyang, Liaoning in May 1964. He graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a major in Oil Painting in 1987. He is a member of the Chinese Artists Association and Chinese Oil Painting Society. His oil paintings have been awarded numerous national and international art exhibitions. His paintings have been purchased by prestigious institutions like The Chinese National Museum of Fine Arts, The Chinese Olympic Committee, Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts as well as numerous private collectors from China, Hong Kong, Singapore?England, Ireland, and the United States, etc. He has had one man art shows in major cities like Paris, New York, Los Angeles, and Houston. He was awarded first place for his oil paintings in an art exhibition in the United States (2005). He also has had his work published in two collections titled Yaowu Zhang, “Sketch Collections” and Yaowu Zhang, “Oil Painting Collections”. His paintings have also been published in the following Chinese Magazines and art related books : “ART”, “Art Observer; “Northern Art”, “ Academic of Art”, “China Oil Paintings”, “The Modern Chinese Oil Painting” , “20th Century International Modern”, “National Stars of Art”, “Northeast Excellent Oil and Color Paintings”, and “The Dictionary Of The International Modern Painters.
